It has a third world country feel in a first world country. I do appreciate Navajo tacos though, and I like the landscape here. Beautiful. Also some of the girls here are hot lol |
Are you going to any of the other reservations? |
I don't know but probably
I've driven through a ton already, Cherokee, Zuni, Hopi, and I think Apache (not sure) |
@rune I believe that's on our agenda |
Authentic Anasazi pots are worth tens of thousands of dollars |
went through new mexico and the navajo villages are pretty sad, but the people were super nice |

Lots of history, They are very interesting to read about. |

@trig Navajo in New Mexico are some of the poorest people in the country. Most don't have running water/clean running water.
@mac Navajo have lived in the four corners area for hundreds of years. However, I do know what you're talking about and it's very sad. I learned about both wounded knee incidents and it makes me mad (unrelated to trail of tears but in the same category) |

@apple some day
Fun fact: The US would not have taken Iwo Jima without the Navajo code talkers |
if you want poor go to pine ridge |
Pine Ridge is where both wounded knee incidents happened. Government there is terrible. |
"Also some of the girls here are hot lol"
Yeah some native American girls are really hot |
I read a book about that a ale(Along time ago, About a year or two ago) called "Code Talker" by Joseph Bruchac about Navajo code talkers(biased off his grandfather) |
