[Before I start, I know there are many threads talking about ROBLOX slowly dying, but I just want to share my opinion about ROBLOX.]
To be honest, ROBLOX is becoming less and less fun despite the updates they make (the most recent update was a color sequence in particle effects).
Seriously though, it's no longer fun anymore!
Now that tickets have been removed, many people got mad about it. I'm also mad because how am I supposed to receive income from my games? I mean, before that tickets were removed, you could get tickets everytime a player visits your place. Now, I'm forced to either insert a "Buy Cash" button inside my games, sell gears or gamepasses! And we all know people DON'T WANT to pay! And that is a problem.
Staying on the subject of the tickets removal, ROBLOX claims "it will make the overall gameplay better. There will be less alternative accounts and ROBLOX will be more fun". Yeah, less alt accounts. We don't have our 10 tix daily reward for logging in! Back in 2014 when I first joined, the daily login reward was my only source of income! Now, new players who join ROBLOX for the first time will not get any money! The only thing they can do to make money is create games. Also, ROBLOX is a game platform for kids 4+. Do you seriously think that a 4 year old kid will be able to script/build a fully functional ROBLOX game? No. Because of that, new players who just joined will get bored after a while and quit.
Now let's talk about free models. If you can't make money because you don't know how to develop a game, let's just add a bunch of free models! It kinda worked for me (back in 2014 I made a game purely out of free models, which was severely criticized and hated). If a newbie tries to do like I did, and succeds, the community will hate him because he doesn't know how to not use free models.
Ok, I know I've been talking quite a lot on the tickets removal subject...
The catalog. Where you buy outfits, hats, shirts, pants and gear for your avatar to look cool. People can't really buy stuff anymore if it isn't free due to TIX removal! Also, just look at the hats or faces. Simple hats/faces like that can cost 2k R$+! Which is impossible for regular NBCs to earn!
Speaking of NBCs...
You do know that you can no longer buy any Builders Club membership for lifetime now, right? This made a ton of people rage, and quit ROBLOX. Seriously though, in ROBLOX TV advertisements, they claim ROBLOX is "FREE"! Is ROBLOX "free"? Let's find out.

- ROBUX TO CHANGE YOUR USERNAME
(hold on gotta stop here to talk about "ROBUX TO CHANGE YOUR USERNAME". Do I really need to pay 1000 R$ to add a capital letter to my username? (let's say my username was pengdoo, and I wanted it to be Pengdoo. This means I have to pay $12.47 just to do that. THIS IS INSANE!)
- BUILDERS CLUB REQUIRED TO TRADE
For me, ROBLOX is DEFINITLY NOT free. Not at all. Even though you still have a lot of functions while being an NBC, there are so many restrictions! Oh wait, I forgot :
- ROBUX FOR VIDEOS ON PLACES
- ROBUX FOR PLACE THUMBNAILS
- YOU EVEN NEED TO PAY FOR YOUR OWN, and yes YOUR OWN V.I.P. SERVERS!
How would the 2016 newbies feel, when they realize that ROBLOX is not "free" and is full of restrictions? Their last thought would be : "I quit."
Hold that thought, I forgot!

This makes ROBLOX game development even worse! I mean it would be nice to have a beautiful game with sounds and everything, right? It would also be cool if you had to pay less for advertising (maybe?).
Now, let's talk about the community. To be honest, the community is CRAP. ROBLOX is now meant for ages 4+. WHAT IS THIS? Here are some examples of why I hate the community:
1) (in my previous tycoon game, I was the owner and decided to join a random server...)

[random player 2] hi gimme admin
[random player 3] gimme speed 100000
[random player 4] :god me

3) (in a random tycoon game (which I do not own)...)

By looking at the examples, you can tell how frustrated and mad I am. Sometimes I might get lucky and meet GOOD PEOPLE WHO DON'T ACT AS STUPID AS THOSE NOOBS.
What about the GUESTS. Yeah, you heard me, the guests. Those ROBLOXians who are similar to players, who are too lazy to create an account, who create more problems than regular players, YEAH! GUESTS!
Why do I (and many people) hate GUESTS?
1) You can't report them, meaning they can break the rules without worrying
Unfortunately, yes, that's my only reason why I hate guests.
That's why I hate the ROBLOX community.
Wow, this post is getting REALLY big... I got a few more things to tell.
Let's talk about "game scams". Such as "COMPLETE THE OBBY FOR FREE ROBUX". I can't believe the users are dumb enough to create or EVEN PLAY SUCH GAMES.
Finally, I will talk about ROBLOX Updates. While ROBLOX is trying to make their site look cool, add new features etc... You are basically ruining your own game platform then trying to fix it later. What is this? And by that I mean everything I've talked about before, and then the new events and updates.
Also, ROBLOX's updates have been criticized because people claim it "doesn't make it as good as before" and it sometimes goes to an infinite updating screen when you try to play a game. (ROBLOX Wikia)
Conclusion of this very long post: I merged all of ROBLOX Forum threads about ROBLOX being bad into one post. Feel free to reply to this thread, either defending ROBLOX, thinking I have nothing to do else than merging all threads into one or agreeding to my opinion. Again, this is just me sharing my opinion about ROBLOX. What I want ROBLOX to do (which they surely won't, even though they say "We're listening, so keep talking") is revert some of their updates, or add TIX back, make ROBUX easier to gain and make the overall website/gameplay less freemium.

Support, for all that it is worth.
For all the great leaps of progression the Roblox devs have made in improving the site and it's content they really have let down a large part of their community.
It saddens me as Roblox was and still can be a great platform but the devs continued efforts to drown out criticism and unwillingess to go back on updates despite huge criticism and rejection by the community has really shunned a lot of members.
Ultimately, yes the devs may have added some great features and Roblox has improved greatly but what of the community? You wouldn't think this would be a good bussiness model but there's no sign of this train slowing down yet... |

Its kind of like The Republic from Star Wars, the game is slowly dying out, mainly from the problems they couldn't fix, and problems they made themselves, soon all it may take to destroy Roblox is another update like the removal of tix. Hopefully, roblox can sort out these problems. But sadly, roblox is getting old, and newer games are coming out. More games that immediately put you in the game, without having to buy currencies. I think Roblox may need to get some of its problems fixed. Or it will die out sooner than the roblox staff thinks. |

i agree with like 80% of this post, mostly the tix removal part
i was just starting to get around with my building skills and i finally took up trying to learn how to script right around the time that they removed tix
the same day tix left, so did my bc
i didnt bother to renew because i realised how much it isnt worth it
but now that i think about it, it was a mistake, because all of the good games (from what ive seen) are pay to play games (urbis, treehouse tycoon)
i spent all of my robux the same day my bc expired too, so im left with nothing, and since im so dang kind and i never accept pay for when i build things for people
im gonna have to support

Now without Tix how do people BUY those things! Another thing yes Roblox needs money to keep running but they get enough from their Ads the place everywhere, from their Disney sponsership, and from Builder Clubs so this is just them being greedy! |

@manwich I'm aware of that. This post only resumes every bad thing ROBLOX has done to us. Still, they need money to run, but do they SERIOUSLY need :
- to remove tix
- to remove lifetime BC
- add a price floor
I don't think so. ROBLOX company would've been (maybe) richer if they left those options.

I personally think that the removal of Tix will help the Roblox economy in the long run, as it means there will be no "free" money to lower the value of Robux. But I do agree with everything else on this post. I support. |

They added some free catalogue items, but I just checked, and ther very little of any use besides looking like a sponsored tool. It seems like the admins just added a few neutral free items at the start to reassure the users that it wwas a thing they were doing, but they haven't added much, if anything, since. |

While I feel the Tix removal was good, I do disagree with the fact that developers don't gain anything from place visits anymore. That shouldn't have been removed in my opinion. I'm not a developer, so it doesn't affect me, but I do find it unfair. |
