As both a game maker and a player, I find that an age limit on some games would make the development process and the game community a bit better.
MECHANICS OF AGE LIMIT:
- Guests are allowed in.
- The higher the age limit, the more lenient the ROBLOX rules are(If the age limit is 13, some curse words are allowed, and there can be a reference to some politics.)
FOR THE PLAYING SIDE:
If there was an age limit on games, like 13 for Phantom Forces, you would see a better community in general. No little ones would be spamming the chat or saying dumb things to make your experience worse.
FOR THE DEVELOPMENT SIDE:
As a game dev myself, I've always wanted to use real-life politics and cursing to enhance my games, but I never could. With the age limit, I could be free to do that. I think all devs would want that freedom, too. And players would a new and fresh treat from their favorite devs, so it's a win-win on both sides.
So, do you think it's a good idea? If you have any counter-arguments to this, I will evaluate them and try to send my rebuttal.
Thanks,
