the following are a list of fouls, after two fouls are committed, a third foul would result in a yellow card. a fourth foul results in a red card and the player will be sent off for the rest of the game. his team will have to play down. ======================================================================================== 1. delay of game - throwing ball out of arena, throwing ball away from ref when i'm tryna pick it up. 2. delay of game - not passing/shooting/clearing the ball within a 10 second timespan 3. goalie delay of game - crossing the yellow line as a goalie before the last 2 minutes of the half (applies to both halves). 4. offsides - entering the goalie crease as a non-goalie 5. early attack - going for or getting the ball before the countdown is over. will result with the other team getting possession of the ball 6. admin abuse - self explanatory, straight yellow for 1st offense, red for 2nd offense or severe admin abuse. 7. wisting - being a complete moron. this only gets one warning before a yellow card ======================================================================================== what happens when a foul is called: •play is stopped •clock is stopped •foul is called •the player who drew the foul is given the ball •the other team must back up to behind the nearest line closest to their net -example for those confused: 1. foul occurs near red center line 2. team who fouled backs up to behind their yellow line 3. ??? 4. profit •after a countdown, play resumes as normal ======================================================================================== gameplay: -10 minute halves -1st half starts with a faceoff from the center dot. each team will position 1 player on their yellow line and a countdown will be started. once the countdown ends, players may attempt to get the ball -2nd half starts with the losing team in possession of the ball -goals scored from behind the yellow line are worth 2 points -all other goals scored are 1 point -after a goal is scored, the goalie must pass the ball to a teammate within a 10 second span of picking up the ball -if you have the ball, you have 10 seconds to shoot/pass/clear the ball before you are given a DoG foul -goalies can't cross the yellow line on their half of the court (until the last 2 minutes of the half) -the only player allowed in the crease is the goalie -if a player gets AA'd on a breakaway, it's a penalty shot -penalty shots begin at the center dot. the player taking the shot has 20 seconds to shoot, and only one shot can be taken -if the score is tied after 2 halves, the game goes to a 5 minute overtime -if the score is still tied after the 5 minute overtime, we go to a shootout •five shootout rounds before sudden death "That's why they call it the American Dream: because you have to be asleep to believe it." - George Carlin | This is my siggy. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
