uhhhhh what kind of dumbass statement is this? these leagues were some of the first ever and the only reason they got big was because the areas supported them and they used to be the only place to play professional. they got big because they were the first, not by starting in 2004 and pumping in a ton of money

that's an absolute load. they were the first professional leagues around but they didn't just grow overnight you know. real madrid got big in the 50's through money (which grew la liga). the epl and serie a both grew in the 90's because of money, specifically tv money.
