I have a HP - 15.6" Laptop - AMD A6-Series - 4GB Memory - 500GB Hard Drive - Black, and i am not sure if i can upgrade it. Looking for information.

Almost all laptop CPUs are soldered onto the motherboard, which means they can't feasibly be replaced or upgraded. The only exceptions are high-end gaming machines and workstations that use desktop processors.

@Josh K, but SSD's are expensive if there high in gb. ram is fine.

@san IDK if anyone sells just laptops CPU's, but most CPU's are stuck in the motherboard like super glue.
