Almost all laptop CPUs are soldered onto the motherboard, which means they can't feasibly be replaced or upgraded. The only exceptions are high-end gaming machines and workstations that use desktop processors.

@san IDK if anyone sells just laptops CPU's, but most CPU's are stuck in the motherboard like super glue.
