Warrior Cats (Warriors) is a book series created by Erin Hunter about feral cats living in groups called "Clans." The first series (The Prophecies Begin) follows young Firepaw as he advances through the ranks of his Clan. There are 5 other series. Each series contains six books each. Sometimes there are "SUPER EDITIONS" that show the point of view from a certain character/characters. There are field books too for more general Clan information and information about the cats. _____________________________ Guide: -What makes the Clans special? -The Clans -Ranks -Names for Ranks -Prefixes and Suffixes -Warrior Code -Extra information about the games. _____________________________ What makes the Clans special? _____________________________ Built upon nobility and bloodshed, the four Clans live under a strict code. They are guided by their spirit ancestors, StarClan. The opposite of StarClan is The Dark Forest, where cats who have done wrong or broken the code (Warrior Code) are sent to. There have been exceptions throughout the series for cats who have broken the code. _____________________________ The Clans _____________________________ ThunderClan - The Clan most of the series is focused on. They live in the forest and hunt in the undergrowth. This Clan is normally respectful of the other Clans. They sometimes take kittypets and loners into their ranks. Doing so, they are looked down upon by the other Clans. They have excellent stalking techniques, and they are strong and loyal. They fight for what is right. RiverClan - Live in marshy/foresty areas, main prey is fish. Cats in RiverClan love to swim and are excellent fishers. They are well groomed and have sleek pelts. They are very clever and strong cats. They are a more conservative Clan. WindClan - This Clan lives on the moors. Their main prey is rabbit, and they are agile and thin. Their territory has no trees, and warriors and apprentices do not sleep in dens, as they believe they are closer to StarClan by doing so. They rarely start fights. ShadowClan - Lives in a marshy/pine part of the forest. They are known for hunting frogs, and being ominous. ShadowClan has a known bloodline of corrupted leaders, and are the most untrustworthy between the Clans. They are proud, loyal, defensive, and slightly arrogant. _____________________________ Others _____________________________ Kittypets: Cats owned by humans/twolegs. They normally wear collars. Rogues: Cats who do not live by the Warrior Code. Normally outcasts of the Clans, or cats who do as they please. They are normally not born into Clans, and most do not approve of the Clans. Loners: Cats who do not mind the Clans, stay out of Clan business. _____________________________ Ranks (Lowest to highest) _____________________________ Kit - A cat who has just been born or is young. Queen - Cat who has given birth to kittens. They retire to the nursery. Apprentice - Once a kit reaches 6 moons, (months), they become an apprentice and are trained by either a medicine cat or warrior. They perform chores for the Clan. Warrior - After 6 moons of training, (once a cat is 1 year old,) they should become a warrior after being given proper training. They are the defenders of the Clan, and hunt and guard the borders. These cats are the majority of the Clan. Elder - A cat who has retired from their role. They are normally old and too frail to perform their duties. There are very minimal of them. Medicine cat - The speakers of StarClan, and the healers of the Clan. (Approx. 2 at a time,) these cats get omens and prophecies from StarClan to warn them of future events. Deputy - Appointed to become the leader after the current one has passed. Sets up patrols and does most of the leader's work. There is only one. Leader - The leader of the Clan. They get nine lives. The other cats have 1. They can die multiple times and come back to life. They make the decisions whether to fight a Clan/enemy and speak at Gatherings. There is only one. _____________________________ Names for Ranks _____________________________ Prefix: the first name. Suffix: the last name. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle. 2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory. 3. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. 4. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating. 5. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life. 6. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice. 7. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name. 8. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice. 9. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh. 10. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time. 11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats. 12. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan. 13. The word of the Clan Leader is the warrior code. 14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense. 15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet. ---------- Exceptions ---------- Cats on their way to the Moonstone or Moonpool are allowed to cross other Clans' territories to get to their destination - WindClan grounds on the moorland and ThunderClan grounds by the lake, in the forest. At the lake, cats may travel on other Clans' grounds as long as they are within two fox-lengths of the lake; for instance, to go to a Gathering. Cats may travel on other Clan territories if they have something to report or ask for help. _____________________________ Warrior Cats Game Rules: https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=192973132 Clan Terminology: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=150367655 _____________________________ Relive the code, Tell the tale.
