Currently the forum community is saturated with bots and useless threads/posts for the primary benefit of getting a higher post count. This in turn deceives a person, particularly in S&I and Help (Technical Support and Account Issues), who believes a 10K+ post forumer holds more credibility over a 100+ post forumer. The 10K+ forumer could have easily either botted or replied uselessly while the 100+ forumer could have replied with sufficient explanation, etc. See how rigged the system is?
I understand that there is some worry of how or if you could evaluate someone's experience without post count, but the system could easily help you evaluate someone's credibility. The first 50 "+REP points" of a user would be administered by a moderator (or a person who themself have 50+ +REP points). After that, the user would be eligible to vote to add +REP to another user; however, this user could only receive +REP if a certain percent of 50+ +REP forumers and moderators vote to administer then +REP. The system could go as far as to max out at 100 where the forumer could +REP/-REP and receive a forum badge on their profile. (Maybe get our first forum badge, eh?) To avoid being rigged, there could be a limit on how much you can vote +REP or -REP, e.g. once a day.
Of course this system might not have perfect logistics, but it seems like a better, viable alternative to "Post Count." Also, ROBLOX could certainly organize this system or create a better alternative themselves.
