I've been wanting to do this for a long time but the league wouldn't listen to it. I think today I finally catched zatter's attention when he reminded me I could appeal, so I will.
Like in all my appeals, I always make a summary of what happened.
I do not want the rulebook to be applied in this appeal, it's irrelevant and the rules are trash and need to be re-made.
Early in the S14 season, I was suspended 5 games for playing a period on Grab's account against Fargo. First offense is mentioned to be 5 games.
Fair suspension, no complaints.
And then, I played as SilentCowz and ElCapitan in JHL, I was suspended 13 games for it. First offense, is 5 games. Now the league says they match JHL and RNHL together so their logic is that it's the second offense.
First off.
If something suspension worthy was committed in the RHL, no suspensions would be applied in the RNHL.
But the thing is, the RNHL and JHL are affiliated together. But they are still NOT the same league.
Since they are affiliated, I agree without any doubts that a suspension is deserved. But again, they're not the same leagues and offenses cannot be mixed together, as I mean, I completely disagree that a first offense committed in the JHL should be counted as a second offense in the RNHL.
Both leagues can use the same rules because affiliated, but cannot addition offenses to eachother. Same affiliation allows same rules, but different leagues goes against additioning offenses together.
This is my first JHL offense and should result in 5 RNHL games suspension. If I did it again, then it would be 10, and on as the rulebook says.
I was suspended 13 games in the RNHL for something committed in a different league, again, I agree a suspension is deserved, since there's an affiliation, that's it. And never it should be 13.
Now the league's been complaining about us doing team stacking. I think their suspensions and their rules are unfair and unjustified and I, or my friends, does not want to play for people related to such things. Therefore, we regroup on one team, San jose. Known as a team stackers.
Before you start making example, if an NHL player committed something in the AHL, his suspension would NOT follow in the NHL. In some cases, it would, but it wouldn't be as bad as the AHL suspension since it was not committed.
I want my suspension reduced to what it should be, 5 games. And then, team stacking would end starting next season. You should or will realise that 8 extra games I should NOT serve is worth a future of the RNHL consisting balanced teams and not a stacked one.
At the end I don't care. I'll serve whatever it is, but I'm not going to play for people that participates in such unfair suspensions, those people, mostly spreaded in all the other teams, makes us stack into one and be too overpowered for the others. If you're fair, then we won't have a problem playing for your teams and team stacking will end. |

Maybe if you didn't cheat and get suspended all the time you wouldn't have to try to abuse technicalities to avoid suspensions that was your fault. |

jsing i was supporting lowering your suspension until you said this
now i can't support lowering because my basis was on the rulebook and you told me to not use it so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Use the rulebook then idc, I just think that mixing both leagues for suspensions is stupid
But i'd rather 10 than 13 |

Keep the suspension - he's done this so many times to where he complains if you don't follow the rulebook, or he complains if you do - whichever hurts him more. |

If we go by rulebook it is a whole season due to the fact you used Silentcowz and ElCapitan which would be your second and third offense. |
