when i joined in jan 11 2016 roblox was a fairly enjoyable game
it was easy to get currency and you could buy clothes and game passes easily
you didn't have to script up a game like a pro just to get some robux
now there is no way for NBC to get robux
and recently there has been no free clothes like they promised
now if i see a game pass i can't just save up to buy it
and the events kinda suck
i know it's only been 6 months but roblox has changed a lot
it's just not as fun as it used to be |

You haven't been on the site for years like i have. roblox for me was like heaven. it was a game i would run home to play everyday. now it just feels like twitter. i go on everyday to just check my msgs, groups etc. most of the games on the front page are boring because they have either been - copied from another popular game, been repeated alot of times, or just misleading games/bait and switch. im considering on quiting and moving on to more games. probably world of warcraft and league of legends. roblox has killed this game over the years and i cant believe im still playing currently. the only reason i stayed here was because of the nostalgia and i also didnt want to quit on roblox that easily because it was basically my childhood. i dunno honestly, the admins dont care about us players anymore and they dont do anything about the front page and its misleading games so whats even the point of trying anymore?

^ I predict 2023, because that time they will go advanced stupid mode and remove party chat. It will make people sad. And even worse, BC removed, and now the game is fully P2P. Newbies will never get a chance to buy ROBUX because their parents sometimes get too overprotective on IAPs. Even so they will remove ROBUX, which is good because it's not P2P anymore, but bad because no more buying clothing, gamepasses, etc. Then ROBLOX will go bankrupt in a few months and shut down, forever.

2011: still gud
2012: beginning to go downhill because 3.0
2013: meh

2015: ew, crappy sponsored events.
2016: tix removed, no personal servers, more sponsored events, what could be worse?
2017: nuuu vip server r gon!!11
2018: no more ads :( how r nbc gon git mony?
2019-2022: no party chat....what could have gone worse....
2023: robux removed, roblox shut down
2024: [abandoned]

Where's the fun in looking like anyone else without robux and you are just wearing free stuff? People want to be creative with their looks. I will target people with robux no matter what until I get robux. |

The only difference between Roblox then to now is the removal of Tix and addition of new, more useful features.
Roblox is fun. I don't need to earn currency and dress my avatar up to have more fun with the game. That's a choice. I can still log into any game and play and have fun with everyone. Roblox is fine the way it is.

it was so fun back in january when i could look at the catalog and select clothes i want
but no, now i have to wear this free stuff and be called a noob for the rest of my roblox life.

The reason behind all of this is because ROBLOX is becoming more of a social media site. The currency is a plus.

Yeah, crap has been going on but I joined in 2012 (and technically played as a guest earlier) but the game is still fun. It's not like they removed the ability to play games or use roblox studio, the most important things here! |

Romaggeddon began when TIX were removed. The py have created multiple fraudulent claims and now everybody is saying how stupid it was to remove TIX. I completley agree with what is said here. |

I disagree with the roblox shutdown theories stated above, as the game developing platform grows better developers will come and so will better games. Honestly yes the community part of roblox might be trash but they will still get the gamers.
