They're lyrics are meaning full and deep, they have deep meanings and are composed by the entire band together. They have amazing singing and yelling, their concerts sound just like the song instead of sounding like a crappy version of it because they don't use autotune. |

While there is some good Linkin Park songs (guilty pleasures, so bad its good songs, and some legitimately decent songs). And most of the instrumentalists aren't incompetent, the main issue is it's just very whiney. It had the problem that plagued a lot of Nu Metal at the time, very much whiney daddy issue teenage First World Core stuff. Plus Chester Bennington although a decent singer, didn't use his voice too the best of his ability. Sometimes, he sounded like he was actively trying sing out his nose. Also a lot of the riff's were very generic early 2000's new metal. I don't think they are the worst Nu Metal band, but they did have there problems. There only legitimately good albums are there first and last albums. Everything in between ranges from mediocre too just plain god awful. |

I kinda like the sound for their Hybrid Theory/Meteora album it makes decent back ground noise when i'm sick of hearing the same thing over and over in Destiny's Iron Banner or Dark souls music. But when you compare the lyrics of Linkin Park to bands like Tool they are pretty average in that aspect. I mean I would have rather had Linkin Park make a track of the new movie Suicide Squad than 21 Pilots. The 21 Pilot song is terrible feels really empty and has been watched by over 40 million tasteless people >.>
Then again if its supposed to be an action movie none of the songs I have seen for the movie so far even work for a action scene. All the music is slow paced and would make a fight scene or explosion incredibly stupid and boring. Not to mention every song they picked has a very slow temp. |

Hybrid Theory, Meteora, and Minutes to Midnight all are good LP albums.
They just dropped off so terribly though, it's a real shame. |

I actually think the 21 Pilots song isn't awful, knowing what the Suicide Squad is it does seem too define them pretty well. It sounds like Amanda Waller is trying too vouch for them. But then again I am the minority of people in this community who doesn't want too grab Tyler by his piercing's and throw him into a volcano, yeah I don't hate 21 Pilots. But I can understand the hate. |
