Need clarification on whether or not this is possible.

Okay, so in June, ROBLOX removed my beloved Group Build feature which I used for the ROBLOX Hat Time Capsules. So now, I'm looking for alternatives. Specifically, I'm seeking the ability to start a server with some people and save the game while in the server. I was looking at DataStore APIs and the Group Studio feature, and my problem is that I don't know very much about scripting (a little, not a lot), and I believe Group Studio allows too much freedom, as I want to be the only one who can save or modify the Server. Please help. Thank.

I looked at that too. I suppose if I made that "SavePlace Pad", it would save directly over the place, which would be fine. I won't ask you to code anything for me, but if I'm reading the code for the savePlace pad, that button can be pressed by anyone, right?

You could make it fire only via a gui that you see
