If anyone has ever tried signing up an account with their favorite actors name, their favorite cartoon show characters name, etc etc, you probably already know that that name was taken. What most people might not know is that a lot of these accounts are name sniped alts. Name sniping is taking a reprieved rare name (Commander_Cody, Donald_Trump, John_Cena, whatever) just for the sake of getting a "cool" name. Often times, these accounts are never used after their creation, and are just something for the creator to brag about. I think if an account is found out to be a name snipe, the account should be terminated (with name made reavaliabe) and the owner banned for 7 days. Names should be left for new players to get, not for old players to brag about.

If you get that upset about somebody having the name 'Baked_Potato' (that's an example) and you don't have that name, then you shouldn't even be on the internet let alone roblox.

i really couldnt care less if my username was 2 seperate chocolate bars, one owned by milka and one owned by cadbury
but then again there isnt that many untaken chocolate bar names about |

I think you misunderstood me. I don't care if some one has a good name. That's great! But if they're just registering accounts to "snipe" that name before anyone else and abandons the account/makes it an alt, it's pretty useless. |

Yes, because if only the alt was banned, what would discourage people from just remaking it?

Banned from ROBLOX, and knowing who the main is might be a bit tricky. This would only go to obvious owners (like people who have their namesnipe in alt groups or soemthing.)

Like I said, that would be tricky. A lot of times they have "sniped by whoever" in their description or in a group of alts. |

Lol, I have one as my main. Not only is Spydig a combination of "spy" and "dig" in English (making it "the spy is digging," or something like that), but in Norwegian it means "sarcastic." |
