Oblivion is much more comfy, but Skyrim is so absurdly modded I can run around as Guts from Berserk and fight Thomas the Tank Engine, So Skyrim's more fun in that respect.

it was the first tes game i played as well
although i had watched my brother play oblivion for a long time so i sort of knew what the game was all about
i personally really like it, i've just never taken the time to actually get anywhere in the game lol

As someone who's first TES game was technically morrowind but more really Skyrim, I believe Oblivion is better unmodded than Skyrim unmodded. |

One of the Most Shallow games EVER, Horrible Combat, Horrible Story, Horrible Quests... It does NOTHING right.

Eh.
It's enjoyable for it's exploration, breath-taking landscapes, and open approach to gameplay...
BUT,
anything other than the slicey-slicey magic-magic and shouty-shouty gameplay it offers is beyond incompetent (stealth, for example)

eventually, you get to a level where you need too much skill levels to level up further
but you still need to get like 200 more levels to fight karstaag
so you literally have to grind for over 10 hours |

i like it a lot have like 300+ hours on it
always crashes for me though, probably becausei have like 90 mods and my dlcs are not legit idk
i think oblivion is a better rpg though, not a better game, i still like skyrimbetter, but a better rpg
