There's like 3 different songs crammed into one
If they woulda taken out the weird opera part and the more rocky part it would have been perfect, and then either of those could have made pretty good songs (although I probably wouldn't like the opera part as a full song)
But it was like they made a 3-4 minute song and were just like "Hey! We need to make this longer than it already is! Do we have any thing we're working on that we can just jam in it?"
On top of that even cutting those parts out it's not nearly as good as some people make it out to be, it's not even the best Queen song |

i think the reason people think the song is so great is because its like a roller coaster that goes from one thing to another. it wouldn't have been nearly as popular if they just cut those parts out and made them into different songs, because the entire point of keeping them in was to be a sort of unexpected twist in how you think a normal song would go.

I dont like that song or the band at all but I respect any artist that can write something like that. Real music lasts as long as the artist needs it to and the song is dynamic and flows. It dosnt repeat everything. I got songs I listen to that are 30+ minutes long and it feels as if they go by in 2 minutes. |

Bohemian Rhapsody used to be my childhood favorite and #1 favorite Queen song, now it's highly just overplayed and overrated. I understand some of what's so great about it, but there are better songs out there.
My favorite Queen song now would be The Prophet's Song. I've heard once and it's mystical and awesome. Nice heavy, dark progressive rock and I liked when he was singing "Now I know" multiple times. |

I will say though I like the suicide squad trailer version, it's short and it cuts down the weird opera part (my least favorite part of it) down to a minimum |
