Hi all,
So, it's been over two months (almost three, wow) since FlyBristol ceased operations. I personally think that the decision I made was the best and I would not have changed my decision, however some of you over the past couple of months have brought up some valid points and I wish to address them.
I've been asked multiple times, did I enjoy running FlyBristol & easyJet?
The first year/year and a half, I loved running easyJet, it was so much fun and I was proud to have run that airline, however towards the end of easyJet's operations, the aviation community deteriorated and it wasn't worth continuing easyJet anymore. The reason I opened FlyBristol, mainly, was to get away from the restrictions. easyJet made me feel as if I was trapped in something which I couldn't put my own ideas towards, hence why I opened FlyBristol as a fictional airline. Yes, I did enjoy running FlyBristol, but I will explain more reasons why I closed it.
I've seen loads of really selfish remarks, and I'm going to share some of them here, expressing my concerns about the ROBLOX aviation 'community'.
"don't be an arse you cont ban him"
"Leaving easyjet was the worst thing you did and you payed"
"why you obey that guy who forced you to close FlyBristol? did you know you must ignore people that you don't know no matters how he talks? if the passagers and staff don't listen to you, just simply give them a warning"
"why close FlyBristol after a one of you should have stayed with easyJet and that would be fine but now all your workings gone to nothing you stupid boy why even bother complaining it aint going to do a thing ill go find another airline now by thanks for a terrible couple of months"
"oh hard man being rude now are we well guess what i could not give a damm should just reopen it plus call me stupid well i bet you will never get your dream job as a pilot roblox is the closest you will get"
I'm going to be perfectly honest, reading those were quite funny, but just shows how disrespectful the community can be.
Loads of people have asked to buy FlyBristol and/or easyJet.
Let me give you the final answer here. No.

What are the reasons for me closing FlyBristol?
They're mainly explained in this forum post (https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=188857952) but it's mainly the fact that the aviation community isn't worth it anymore and I wasn't enjoying myself just spending my time shouting at people, so I moved on and I don't even regret it.
Doctortardiswho closed FlyDoha about a week or two before I closed FlyBristol, and some other people followed him and expressed about how much happier they were away from all this, well, beeeep.
Thank you for the time I had in the aviation community, I left a while ago but some people were really getting on my nerves so I had to address it.
Finally, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the ROBLOX aviation community and your thoughts to my decision about closing the two airlines, leave a comment on this forum post.

Wow. I can't actually believe that it's been 3 months now. I respected your decision but myself personally, I would have kept Charter only because that flight was absolutely amazing. But, your decision was for your own good.

Hey, Triagla.
I'm happy you did something, which you felt was better for you.
I do agree that there are some downsides to aviation.
1. Scamming: So many people are using this platform with airlines, to literally just scam people, I've been scammed, and I've seen so many other people scam my friends.
2. Copying: Not mentioning any names, but some people, have been making airlines, and benefiting off other people's work such as the 12k AA, which copied the original 30k AA.
3. Exploits: It's annoying and stupid that this keeps happening, it's a difficulty to manage this, and is making the community worse, and worse.
4. Competition: Some other airlines, don't accept competition and will just get other people within their airline, to just exploit there flights (not mentioning names)
I like aviation, and the only reason is for British Airways, and BeastsX and FlyQuiverx.
That is it.
Also, I understand not wanting to sell something which you made succesfull

It was the best prospect to close the airlines, even though it had its amazing moments, your life is more important. No one wants to run something for no personal benefit.

Hey, ######## I would like you to open the Airlines again because all Airlines have been closed and I wanted to try out how would it be in fc, bc and ## .Please I want to see and if its gone wrong i'll think about it because it's gonna be my fault if something wrong happens but please open it i would like to see how an Airline Plane is inside and how much hard work i'll help you if just a thing is wrong.
