Hello! This forum will explain the overhaul of the Old Collegiate Football Association and a new connected league, the Old Football Development League.

Overview-
No, the OCFA is not being rid of. The OCFA carries a lot of potential but is not ran the proper way in order to churn out new prospects into the Old Football League.
The OFDL will be a place to go when you run out of eligibility in the OCFA or you want to "drop down" to become a quarterback. There will be no more drop downs in the OCFA.

Old Collegiate Football Association-
You will only be eligible for 2 seasons in the Old Collegiate Football Association. After one season you will be FORCED to enter the draft. If you go undrafted you may return to the Old Collegiate Football Association and play your second season of eligibility.
This rule goes into place next season, meaning current OCFA'ers may play one more season if they like then they will be forced into the draft. OCFA is meant to be temporary, not a league to play in forever.
The league will shrink to 6 teams in order to make up for the addition of the Old Football Development League.
If you go undrafted after 2 seasons in the OCFA, you must join the OFDL, where you can develop into an OFL player. That will be explained more below.

Old Football Development League-
The OFDL is OFL's newest league. The point of the league is to go there when you want to drop down to the OCFA to fulfill your life long dream of becoming an OFL QB, RB etc.
There will be 4 teams in the OFDL. The point of the league is to develop into an OFL player. A temporary league. You may go into the OFDL directly after the OCFA or if you're in OFL and having trouble being signed you may go into the OFDL. Head Coaches will be encouraged to sign almost everyone and have little cuts, the point is development, winning is the 2nd goal.
The OFDL may not begin until S12 of the OFL due to lack of players from the OCFA that aren't good enough to make it into the OFL. That is TBD.

Old Football League-
You will now be forced to play one season in the OCFA before joining the OFL as a rookie in effort to improve the quality of the leagues draft and quality of the OCFA.
Teams from the OFL may claim a player directly from the OFDL and the Head Coach of the team cannot force him to stay in the OFDL. It is completely legal to go from OFDL to OFL. You may go from OFL to OFDL with your coach agreeing to it if he/she wants you to develop.
You may never go from OCFA to OFL or OCFA to OFDL without a draft or Commissioner's approval for some weird situation.

Tracking Eligibility-
A trello/ranks in groups will be kept to know who has played in the OCFA. It will be kept up by me and ARFCinator with others helping.

League Staff of OFDL-
It is also TBD. The League Staff (Commissioner, etc.) will be chosen by me and ARFCinator.

Also about being forced into one season in the OCFA, once the rank opens up for Join OCFA, thats when the new people who join the group become ineligible unless they PM me proof they were on an OFL team already. |

Hopefully draft will be longer. For now anyone ranked draft prospects is ineligible to play in OFL. People who are incorrectly ranked must PM myself or an EB to fix the ranking. |
