how do i use the new constraints

I know I need scripts and know where to get them, but how do I get the constraints to work in general (get them to show up, do I need to use the scripts or what) can someone give me some idea on what to do?

you don't need scripting necessarily i feel its very un polished and not welly executed (the whole constraints update) since springs wont even work for me)
