The standings for the preseason tournament are based on the result of the last season. The team who won the Kuch11 Cup is the top-seeded team in this tournament and the runner up is second in the tournament with all the other teams falling down in order based on standings from last season. The tournament is double elimination and will continue until only 1 team is left. The winner of the preseason tournament wins the Htate Cup.
