in like a week i won't be on steam for another 3 days or so because this hotel's wifi is so horrible that it cuts off like every 2 minutes

no. this is much, much worse. It cuts off a hundred times more often and (i've actually calculated this) it's somehow three times slower. the previous hotel, sadly, DID have better wifi than I do at home.
