Ok they do need the money and stuff, but 10% is still a lot. Tens and hundreds of limiteds are sold each day, and sometimes expensive ones; so they still get money but not as much as they used to. Plus, it makes the community happy.

If they did this I'd assume that limiteds would decrease in price as people would not have to set it higher to get the price they want.
