A few years back, a game named Project Spark came out, it was a free to play game, and in it, you were told to make games and upload them to the servers just like roblox. However, the game shut down a few months back. The game had a thing called "koding". It was basically predetermined pieces of code that you could stitch together, like pieces of a puzzle and it would easily make the game. Now, roblox could let you and other users create their own pieces of predetermined code, which could be put on the marketplace to let others create their own games super easy. With this, even tycoon makers could make games of the likes of Phantom Forces. I recommend this because let's be honest, many games in roblox are trash. This will remove a lot of them and add a ton of new fun games. Feel free to look up project spark koding to get a better understanding of how it works.

or just learn lua

Maybe some people don't have any time to learn lua and wants to make good games but then end up making tycoons.

It's not a thumb down, it's an alternative that can teach the players how to do it while making their games.

What I'm trying to say, is that its not a replacement to LUA, its simply an alternative which anyone can use to learn lua, OR make their games. You can still use lua as much as you want.

Why don't they just make coding games easier? Simple as that!

Thats exactly what I'm suggesting..

Oh, so like Scratch? That would be interesting. But I think it's better to use Lua because, well I prefer making scripts myself without any cube codes to help. But I can see how this might help some people.

Just look up project spark kode on google to get a better idea. And then after that developers could program cubes of code to add to the puzzle and people could pay robux for them.

Oh and no its not like scratch. It's alot easier to use than that

"Oh and no its not like scratch. It's alot easier to use than that" I have a bad feeling about it. Oh, and the optional thing wouldn't work. Remember the sad demise of Legacy Physics?

No, it would work. Also, we are talking about scripting, not physics. Scripting is more malleable than the overall physics of a game. All it would be is that instead of putting "script" in the workspace, you would put something like "brain" in the workspace, and all it would do is take preset lines of code and put them together and compile them into a script, like a puzzle. Like I said, look up on youtube or google project spark koding, it's the easiest thing ever. I got a chance to use it before the game shut down; it's amazingly easy to use.

No. My reference to Legacy Physics shows that Roblox will not make things optional forever. One system of doing things will be deleted later.

Not this, this NEEDS scripts to work.. you COMPILE them into scripts... seriously, pay attention to what I'm typing.. Don't forget that its only predetermined pieces, not offering as much freedom as scripting, so they obviously wouldn't remove it.

PGS didn't have as much freedom in overlapping parts and it still became the sole physics solver.

You clearly are not paying attention to what I'm saying... Look up project spark koding on youtube. Do it. You will see that its impossible for it to take over scripting.

If dragging blocks is Scratch then what is this?

my point still stands here if you effortlessly make another pf because of this, then youre just not a real developer. you need to work hard, we dont need predetermined pieces of code to stitch together so either learn lua or just dont bother try making games

@kidflash200bc It's to teach people how to code in LUA.

I looked it up. The only thing they should've changed is make it use real programming.

You see guys, this is what's wrong with roblox. I'm suggesting how to fix trash games in roblox and the users complaining about it refuses to fix the problem at hand. Alright, whats your suggestion then?
