At Catalog Heaven, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find the bottom of a cool shirt because the catalog is so littered with endless repeats of the same crap from the now defunct group NBC Shirt Creators. This is a problem that accentuates other massive problems with the catalog, like clothing copying and the horrible search system.
ROBLOX, I implore that you take three measures to clean up the mess that has been left behind by the group:
1. Attribute all clothing to the person who posted it
This can be done by searching the audit log (I'm sure) and seeing who posted what. Doing this will not only completely erase NBC Shirt Creators’ name from ROBLOX, it will also make it easier to find a matching pair of shirt and pants, since users will post both to make a complete outfit.
2. Delete copies
I understand this would be an arduous task if it were the whole catalog you were sorting out, but this is only one group, so the goal is more realistic and attainable. Again, you can use the audit log to see which version of a particular shirt/pants was posted first.
3. Make all NBC Shirt Creators items free
This may be the suggestion people question, so let me explain. The NBC Shirt Creators was a direct response to the update that mandated only BC players could post shirts and pants. Regardless of my opinion on this, the people who exploited this loophole should be punished for cheating the community. Since people still want original clothing, it would be unwise to just simply delete all NBC Shirt Creators items, as some of the items are original. Thus, a smart move would be to make all the items free; people can still get the shirt, but the creator will not get any money as a result of circumventing the rules.
I hope this is helpful in sorting out the catalog and creating a more diverse, creator-friendly market.
