There are a lot of tycoon games that get on the front page because they use several bots or bot guests to log up and fill the servers, generating a high amount of players.
Roblox removed tix because these people would get a whole lot of tix from doing this (Place Visits) and become rich.
Any tycoon games should automatically be put into the reporting query for checking if they are in the "Popular" games section. |

Why do you think that a Tycoon would have more plays than Phantom Forces in mere hours???
Also roblox states in the blog that they did remove tix because that was ONE of the reasons.

Kind of unfair how only tycoon games will be put into question for removal. Tbh I'd rather play a tycoon than PF, not sure about others though. Also, the amount of players in each game can fluctuate based on how much the creator is spending on advertisements at that point in time.

roblox can't discriminate against certain types of games. you're saying that tycoons should be removed from the front page just because they aren't difficult to make, but making it so that only EXTREMELY complex and professionally-made games like phantom forces and apocalypse rising are allowed on the front page (or on the site as a whole) would turn away every amateur game developer, which is the OPPOSITE of what roblox wants to do (they're trying to encourage aspiring designers/developers/writers to learn through actual game development, they're not just trying to be a run-of-the-mill game engine).
