It is annoying when you spend ages on a ad and then find out 5mins after that some lazy person has copyed it and is using it for there place etc....
i think there should be copyprotection on ads so your creations are safe and that they can !!!NEVER!!! be copyed.

Its actually against the Roblox rules to take something from ANYBODY and take credit for it. This includes ad's, models, shirts, pants, t-shirts, ect.
I found this out the other day while I was reading the Terms and Conditions (Link at the bottom of the page) |
i have had a ad in the past that got copyed. and a shirt. |
copyprotection will be on shirts |

Impossible.
I can get around ANY protection system in 2 minutes, tops.
Its not feasible to do so.
Use watermarks. |

Any image on the web can be "scooped" (for lack of a better word) to your hard drive. This can even be done from within your browser. Even with an Adobe Flash or Java applet you can get the image. If you really want the image and you see it on your screen you can get it. If someone steals your image you should just report them as (apparently) using another person's add is against the EULA.
How do the admins know who made the add? Well, they don't, but they can get a very good guess from the upload time and date. |

but on roblox the ads must be protected |
Then use a watermark. You can't copyprotect an image. |

Watermarks can be scratched out you know |
Not if you do them right. There will be most likely be some tell-tale sign that it was stolen. |

Well perhaps make the file some kind of other file than picture but then screenshotting would still work but might slow down ad copying.

You can actually copyright an image if YOU/your company made it. I've tried to use i picture for my science project, didn't work out so well as it was CopyRighted |

Actually, did you know that if you take a picture of something or make a picture 100% of your work/design then its under copyright to YOU. Its really cool. |

well there is copyprotection on are places |
This is nearly impossible to stop. I have about 100 saved ads from OTHER PEOPLE that I could easily use. I don't, though. I just like them or think they're funny so I save them. |
its easy to catch people who copy ads |
