with all due respect, has it not occurred to you that science textbooks don't just stop getting more complicated + advanced after 6th grade? most lower-level physics textbooks will say that there isn't anything smaller than an atom, but anyone who knows what a proton or neutron is will say otherwise, and even then you still have to get into quarks
obviously you can't directly compare biology/gender studies to fundamental physics, but my point is that there's plenty of evidence to suggest that a binary gender system may be a major simplification (which i would reference were there no ban on offsite links) and that you can't just simply boil it down to XX and XY, or what sort of gametes you produce, or whatever. i'm not saying i'm an expert at all, i'm just saying it's dangerous to be so sure about something that you don't even fully understand yourself. of course if you do have a PhD in biology then feel free to correct me, but given that this is roblox i don't have high expectations |

apart from genetic mutations, which are the only exception to the rule, every person is born with either the XX chromosomes or XY chromosomes. this defines your gender. you can not change your gender, you can not have a third gender unless you are born with a genetic code stating otherwise.
i dont care if you THINK you were born in the wrong body, thats called having a mental disorder: gender dsyphoria.
it doesnt take a PhD in biology to realize this
so yes, you can scientifically boil gender down to 3 categories: XX, XY, and genetic mutation

you can't just 'realize' the answer to a hotly disputed topic that spans biology, psychology, and several other social sciences. that would be like if i said 'after completing my high school physics course, i've realized that gravitational attraction is caused by magic. anyone who says otherwise is objectively wrong, you don't need a PhD in physics to realize that magic is the only possible reason behind gravity as a force' |
