**Attn: Please do not make silly speeches for this or "campaign" on the group wall -- this is meant to be a simple process and a great form of democracy. You shouldn't need to campaign.** We need a Deputy Chief and I can't decide - so you decide. YOU MAY ONLY CAST A NOMINATION VOTE IF YOU ARE IN THE LVPD. I WILL SAY THIS ONCE AND ONCE ONLY -- ONLY LIEUTENANTS OR ABOVE CAN BE NOMINATED. Any rank can VOTE for a nominee, but the person they are voting for must be a Lieutenant+. **THE TOP 3 PEOPLE WHO GET NOMINATED FOR DEPUTY CHIEF (THE PEOPLE WITH THE MOST VOTES FOR NOMINATIONS) WILL GET ON THE OFFICIAL BALLOT FOR DEPUTY CHIEF**. **THIS IS NOT WHO WILL GET DEPUTY CHIEF -- THIS IS NOMINATIONS** Heres how it works: - The top 3 Lieutenants and/or Captains with the most votes on this forum will go onto the actual ballot that will be released later. - Once the acutal ballot is released, the person with the most votes on that actual ballot, with approval from the Chief, will be the next Deputy Chief of LVPD. HOW TO VOTE TO NOMINATE SOMEONE: Step 1: Ensure they are the rank of "Lieutenant" or "Captain" in LVPD. Step 2: Reply to this forum with "[I NOMINATE] (Insert name here)" Step 3: Drink voss water. enjoy!
