i think 4 minutes would be a good ceiling for audio length
not way too long, so the mods can still easily take care of anything rulebreaking
and long enough to fit many tracks well
basing the audio costs on the size of the file will discourage people changing pitch to fit much longer tracks into the limits of the system, and allows people uploading things such as clips and sound effects to keep more of their robux
as the current limit is 8MB, a good rate could be 1 robuk every 20-40KB
seeing as most 4-minute tracks will reach around the 8MB mark, these updates could go hand-in-hand

Support but the price is way too high.

Example being, you can simply change the audio sampling from 48, which is typical .wav files, to 16. |

unless they really like lower-quality audios, it shouldn't be a problem

.ogg is a more compatible version of .wav, basically, but it is technically the same |

I like your idea, but from a business perspective, (aka ROBLOX in this case), they wouldn't consider it, because uploading, say, a sound effect that lasts three seconds, it wouldn't make them enough money, if you see where I'm coming from. |
