So, we all know about the famous/infamous day that Roblox decided to remove tickets. This update was highly contreversal (mainly being hated), and for good reason. Roblox for one removed the ability for kids who didn't have money or didn't have parents who were willing to pay for virtual cash, and they also implied, either intentional or unintentional, that they demand that if people want something in Roblox, they can't just come every day to get Tix, they have to PAY for it. Now, I don't have anything against Roblox on removing Tix (except that they removed daily rewards), EXCEPT, they DIDN'T EVEN TRANSFER ALL THE USER'S EXISTING TIX INTO ROBUX. Now, this one part of the update they didn't add made my blood BOIL in anger. I had around 500 Tix, which was all wasted because the Roblox developers didn't at least cushion the blow of removing Tix. They just had to deliver EVERY PAINFUL THING about the lack of Tix. Now, I can't buy ANYTHING, mainly because I'm young and don't have parents willing to spend $10 on practically worthless cash. And another thing, Everything on this website is basically worthless, from the Robux to the hats and membership. If Roblox removed being able to pay from real life for something like OBC, then having people accumulate enough Robux to pay for it, everyone would either come back every day, or decide Roblox is terrible and would quit it. So, it would probably be reasonable for Roblox, or all sites like it, to put in transactions for virtual money. HOWEVER, it is NOT reasonable for Roblox to make transactions for virtual money to be REQUIRED, hence the daily reward for Tix being removed. Roblox should AT LEAST, if not add Tix back, to give a daily reward of 1 Robux, or AT LEAST MAKE IT SO THAT ALL OF PEOPLE'S TIX BE TRANSFERRED TO ROBUX, and not being TOTALLY wasted. And with transactions for Robux, this removal of Tix basically takes away people's money. In conclusion, I think Roblox should have some consideration for the poor kids who don't have parents who are willing to spend money for some hat on Roblox, by either transferring existing Tix to Robux, and/or rewarding people with 1 Robux every day. |

Look at TF2. Some people focus on making their character pretty, instead of playing the actual game. And it worked out so far, until the Meet Your Match update (That is purely the TF2 team's fault on that), and whats the point if you can't make your character unique in its own way? Why not just REMOVE the entire catalog? We don't need it. We'll just only play the games like it's supposed to be played. We don't need any customization on our character to set their look apart from anyone else's. We can just remove every hat, shirt, pants, etc. from the catalog. No one will notice a thing. Also I have no idea how to work these forums, because this is the first time I've ever posted something on Roblox. |

If your parents won't spend 10 dollars on virtual money, that's too bad. Does that mean that robux should become valueless because of that? nope.

So, what are we going to do? Just let Roblox customization be only for the kids who actually have parents who are willing to throw money away just for virtual hats? Let it transform into a different game, blocking off 10 year old's with no money from experiencing custom avatars? What about the kids who have parents not willing to throw away money for membership like BC-OBC? Not being able to customize your avatar isn't really a good thing, especially since you have to throw away 5 bucks for 400 Robux, which can barely, if able to, buy a simple top hat. And of course, there is the 24 hats that are free to take, but look at the Ghostly/Ghastly Gibus and the Pyrovision Goggles from TF2. People who are dubbed "F2P's (Free to Plays)" who usually wear such cosmetics are branded as the worst players of TF2, being teased and bullied by the people who just so happen to have enough money to pay for a single cosmetic. These F2P's are being bullied to the point where they actually quit the game. And with the time passing for people to spend their tickets, what about the people who WEREN'T there? What about the people who weren't able to log on to their computer, because they didn't have one, didn't have access to the Internet, or wasn't at home? |

I'm not saying that Robux is valueless because of that reason, I'm saying its worthless because of how every single thing on the Internet is worthless. It's just a bunch of 1's and 0's set up to look like something like a fedora. Now, if you were told that you could spend 5 bucks to get a top hat that didn't exist, would you buy it? No you wouldn't. |

Look, hun, obviously robux has a value. If people SPEND USD OR WHATEVER on robux, it has a value, if people can devex robux into money, it has a value. I was saying robux would be valueless because of the inflation of it. This happened to tix, and it would happen to robux too.

Look kid. It's been months since ROBLOX already removed tix. I'm tired of seeing this every time on the forums. ROBLOX will NEVER bring back tix okay. I doubt that's going to happen. Stop bringing these stupid ideas to this Suggestions and Ideas forum. Why won't you just go buy yourself or have your parents buy a ROBLOX game card and redeem it for Builders club or robux. Stop trying to bring these ideas anymore, it's just plain stupid. As much as I want tix to come back there is a reality to everything. Tix will never come back. It's been months already so just deal with it.

Isn't that what humans always do? They don't settle with what they have, they want MORE. They want more power and knowledge. Humans are selfish, sometimes just a little, and sometimes a LOT. Humans want to dominate the Earth to make it their own world, above all other animals (look how much we've managed to screw the Earth in less than 1,000,000 years), and currently searching for other planets to live and claim ownership over, maybe so they can extend their reach of rule to larger levels. Humans are selfish, and I wouldn't be surprised if I were selfish too. |
