2 for 4 in preseason, missed 2 in today's game
And they've all been in the 30's in terms of yardage |
And don't quote me on this but he may have missed a PAT in the 1st game |
He did miss the pat
Another pick wasted by the bucs and if i'm not mistaken there were some really good options as well. |

based on his stats in college, it was a good pick so |
Well that blows. Hope he can get it together |
they could've just picked up some kicker who went undrafted.
College is not the NFL. This pick is worse than the one with Bryan Anger being selected before Russell Wilson. |

"they could've just picked up some kicker who went undrafted."
i mean, they thought they were picking the next sebastian janikowski so |
At least Anger was actually an average punter |

"College is not the NFL."
based on this logic, all game film and hype from every college pick in NFL history should be ignored because "college is not the NFL"
kicker is the safest position to base college stats on
everything is the same and there's literally no adjustment besides PAT's
you can't get hit and you're still kicking the same way
"This pick is worse than the one with Bryan Anger being selected before Russell Wilson."
i too, love judging draft picks in hindsight |

This man will be nowhere near Janikowski.
How come he could lock down 30 yd kicks in college? Kicking coverage in the NFL is not the same as college. How can you say other than PATs kicking is no different? Competition, plus with how early he got drafted, he's not going to live up to his expectations. Just like Anger, he got picked too early. Janikowski is an exception, a kicker you see every half century. |

Some players just flat out fail when they get to the NFL, no matter what their college stats are or draft position. Justin Blackmon, Ryan Leaf, and JaMarcus Russell to name a few. |
Justin Blackmon was actually pretty good, he just kept screwing up off the field. |
Except he had many chances to remain on the field. |

Blackmon didn't "fail" he was a great player |
shut up bruh he still has a lot of time lol, you're judging him too quickly
Nit-picking at my reply won't help. Sure, I could have provided a better example, but this says nothing about your argument concerning Aguayo. |
Those field goals he missed were just shanked. Great holds too. |
Was it one of those madden kicks where you think you aimed properly but you f'd it up and took a hard left/right |
I'm sure they'll be on the Bucs SB nation blog.
UPDATE: Just made a FG from 34. |

You bringing up Blackmon, Leaf, and Russell have nothing to do with it either lol
The fact is, Aguayo's stats in college indicated that he was going to be a fantastic kicker, and that's what he was drafted on. You're literally saying that those stats should have been ignored. |

JaMarcus Russell's stats in college he would be a successful QB in the NFL
I'm saying it happens. Players who looked untouchable in college can be huge busts in the NFL. I'm not seeing ANYTHING suggesting Aguayo is even remotely close to Janikowski. Yes, it's very early in his development. But this is something that should be worried about.

Except I've never explicitly said his college stats should be "ignored." |
