In the Democratic Republic of Congo, 2054 June 16. An army unit from The Democratic Republic of Congo, named Congo Patrol is a group based on helping civilians in Congo, Africa. As a few members of Congo Patrol had become weary of fighting against African tribes, around twenty-five of them decided they were done. Amongst them were many basic soldiers, several officers, and one Commander all who's names were unknown. They set sail to America on the Ciann (Cyan), a Frigate ship who's current whereabouts are unknown.
Their main goals were to help the Civilian Defense Front against the dreaded, power hungry USCPF . When they arrived in America, ten soldiers had died on the trip. They found themselves off the coast of Georgia where they wandered until they found Atlanta, where they decided to start working for money. They began by doing basic menial labors and sent two soldiers to go and find them work.
In the current day Congo Patrol has outgrown it's tasks in labor, and is now a full fledged militia. The USCPF sees them as outlaws while CDF sees them as valuable allies. With the new found size and viability of Congo Patrol,they decided to change their name to Ciann Congo Patrol in honor of the founders of the militia. The group goes under the Flag of Congo in order to hail their origins.
The weapons carried by the group are Ak-47's, usually no sidearm, and a Bowie knife. This group is hostile only towards the USCPF and insurgent/bandit factions (e.g. The Legion).
NOTE: Spelling Cyan improperly was for role play purposes only, as immigrants coming from Africa would have a poor understanding of the English Language.
