Whats to stop him from denying the rules and cling to his title and stuff - especially if owns the Shogunate group there is nothing stopping him.
The advisor idea though is brilliant as far as I see it. Since it would ensure that the right ideas get expressed.
I am fine with tech being distributed but I feel it would have to be done through neutral parties or clans through role play trading. If its the Shogunate thats doing this then they will like the man who is Shogun and once I appoint his replacement after hes defeated might cause resentment towards me since I am not the one giving things away. If you see where I am coming from.
As for issues with Chicao I would have to discuss those details in game with you as they're very complex. This applies to why there are war declarations. I will explain all that in game.
For the Imperial Family I have no idea what to do in regards to that I sort have just made my current RP family (Shimazu) Princes/Princesses but I only have few remaining members of the family. Now when it comes to being addressed as Tenno/Emperor or Tada-Heika I am fine with whatever works for people.
Also what rank should I make you in IO?

That is why you would need to accept them into the court to decide on the conditions that can be agreed upon. Not dismissing it from what might happen.
I have not come up with the parts involving Chicao and the shogunate just off my own opinion, I had already spoken with him extensively on all of this, and hes ready if you are.

I can speak to Taira personally. I am sure he is more than willing to fight against any challengers. The issue Tadatsune and I have is similar but not quite the same because if we were to push forward with the new IO, we are going to do everything you have told Tadatsune and what you suggested Taira should do.
If you don't mind telling me, what are the parts Tadatsune disagreed or has not accepted?
