SC will do anything to avoid a war

Especially against a clan they know are going to win. Today it was agreed that because Resade's fort (the Vale) was too unfair, we (Resade) had to raid it in an 8v14 (but we couldn't maintain 14 so we raided with 12). Which means that despite the poor numbers, we were forced to raid an 8v12 at our very own supposedly "unfair fort Vale". Well we emerged victorious. We won the raid (against SCSG defenders I might add) Having won this raid I'm going to move on to my next point. Where Resade were chosen to pick out 8 defenders to defend Sleet Clan's very own *Fort Hailstone*. However, the updates we requested were applied and SCSG were chosen to raid against regular Resade members. (An 8v14 with the raiders having the updates applied to Hailstone - which in turn meant that a spawn entrance to upper cliffs was to be removed). Well I'm happy to say that SCSG not only lost at Hailstone to our regular members, but we managed to win without even having them plant the bomb once. Which proves that SCs very own fort is more unfair than Vale even WITH the updates. This clearly shows evidence then that Resade were within their right to request updates that were originally requested to be applied. However, as the following logs will inform you, Sleet Clan have STILL refused that and attempted to avoid a war with Resade due to Resade being victorious on both occasions. Here are some logs between SpecSlayer and I from TS3 >AFTER< the two events listed above had occurred. I've never really understood why clans decline wars where there's a chance they'll lose. It's something I've been totally against even during my era of SC, when we took on Power Pact in a 1v3 basically. I'm interested to hear Sleet Clan's defense to this.
