I'm Rolerain. I was formerly a city council member during laffydecious's recent mayor term. I wish to continue that by becoming one of your new city council members.
First off, I would like to put out my experience. As I said earlier, I had worked with mayor laffydecious in a recent term to help make bills that benefit the people of Norfolk and anyone that wishes to come to it.
The bills I had proposed include:
-Calm The Batons Act (Makes sure the PD role plays with criminals that want to roleplay)
-Defending Privacy Act (Protects your information on the wall)
-Protecting Our Jobs Act (Ensures departments are safe from ridiculous charges)
And the amendments I proposed include:
-City Charter Article VI Section 1 (makes the council job fair)
-The Peoples Voice Amendment (Makes sure you, the citizens, have a voice on your department directors through your council)
-Protecting Our Jobs Amendment (amendment to my earlier act making it more clear and effective)
All of these bills had passed.
Within my term, I had ensured that *your* voice was the one represented in the city council. I want to continue this thing of mine and ensure that the citizens are kept updated with whats going on in the council and in the entire Norfolk government in general.
Some of my future plans include:
-Continue to make a transparent path for citizens to see whats going on in the government.
-Make more bills that solve the problems erupting in the city at that time, not something that's in no way needed.
-One bill I may propose will be to help strengthen our public relations by setting up a proper member in the council to me in charge of directly going to citizens and asking them what they want to see happen in their city.
