Has anyone else had to deal with this? This is crazy stupid right?
I was in the middle of playing Arma 3 (and posting memes on C&G) when Isolaytor messages me via steam saying that VOID needs more funding and that a bunch of poeple should all pitch in to help get advertising for VOID. (the ads look mediocre)
Now, I've only been in VOID for like 3 weeks so i'm not gonna just go throwing money around for a clan i've barely been apart of. But Isolaytor keeps insisting "we really neede to all contribute to the task at hand," etc.
I tell him I dont have any robux at the moment and he says to sell a hat or two so I can get him money by the end of the day.
I didnt plan on actually giving him money but it could've been because I didnt remember but when he messaged me at the end of the day I didnt have robux on me.
So the evening is here, and Isolaytor messages me again "did you get that robux for the clan?"
"No Isolaytor I didnt remember"
"You understand that it was an order, right?"
"I get that you want the robux but I dont think I should be contributing when I haven't even been in the clan very long"
At this point, Isolaytor seemed annoyed. "Well if that's how this is going to be, meet me at the rally place in the morning to talk"
It's not like I can just argue with him since he immediately logged off steam but I think im right at this point and hold my ground.
So today, I see him in the rally place after getting a PM from whatever no name HR says to go there immediately and he asks me if I think i've done something wrong.
He started to go on about how I am apart of the clan and need to contribute to it to gain activity and blah blah blah,
I pretty much gave up at this point and say "Ok fine how much do you need???" He looks back and says, "I'm gonna need about tree fiddy."
It was around this time where I realized that Isolaytor was around 8 stories tall and a crustacean from the paleozoic era. "wtf lochness monster! I aint giving you no tree fiddy"
I guess the point of this is that sometimes even if the person is well known, people can be scummy and you should stick to what you think is right. Has anyone else here had to deal with Isolaytor or someone else like this on C&G? |

Honestly, don't give ISO money, he doesn't deserve it because the only thing he can do is hype.
He can hype like Bethesda, but can deliver like EA on ME3. |

Well here, you can use this argument.
Ads are not as efficient as they were before back in the early days of ROBLOX.
Rarely people even see ads anymore because those player ads are replaced by company ads if your BC. (My experience).
That and people rarely join a group after clicking an ad, its honestly a waste of money on ROBLOX. Acquiring money in general is already a pain since tickets were removed.
This honestly sounds like Iso is just milking it at this point, I doubt he even needs funds for group ads. I feel like probably more than 60% of the money he is receiving is going into his own consumption for hats and etc.
Unless he actually is an idiot and going to run ads, this still morally right to be demanding money from people within the group. If you can't run ads, dont run them, period. |

I would NEVER donate to a clan if someone asked me to, no matter the rank. It's my ROBUX, I choose what to do with it. You chose to be the leader, it's your task to get funds.

He wasn't trying to take your money and buy something for his own benefit. He asked for a contribution towards a clan you've been part of for 3 weeks conscious of it being in development.
