As a prince(ss) you have always been kept inside the palace walls, guarded from hunger, worry, and most disease. Now, you awake to no sounds anywhere. No servants at your door, no dishes clanking as they were being washed, nothing. You found you parents' room was empty, save a small medallion. It's an odd little trinket, it doesn't glow, but it doesn't dull. In the light it's the same as in pitch darkness. It must be connected to the vanishing of the entire palace. You grab whatever you can carry from the armoury and storehouses, and set for Brickhaven, the largest city in the known world, and home to the king of Deldra. You don't know what you'll find, but you know what you need, friends.

(I guess I'll start us up. Oh, forgot to mention, the mythical creatures in this thread are there, but they're few. Mostly we fight other humans.)
Roger sat in a tree, looking at the medallion, it was helpful and hurtful at the same time. It could show the way at night, but give his position away when asleep, he had to keep it covered.

I leaned back against the tree, it was a large specimen, it could've held a couple dozen more people. But for now, I was gald it didn't, solitude was the only thing I had, and it felt good for the moment. |

Someone broke through the trees below me, I wasn't if they could see me or not. It was hard to tell but it looked as if they were wearing a mask. I didn't think that was a good sign so I kept quiet. |

The person stopped and looked around. I kept as still as I could. My medallion dropped from the tree and and hit the ground with a thud. I knew I was in trouble. I pulled out my bow and notched an arrow. If he attacked, I would strike the first blow. |
