It's very much a feature issue, it's clearly become a widespread issue and ROBLOX has made no changes to try to fix it. They need to enforce stricter rules.
For one, block names of admins like Builderman/Shedletsky. They are mostly used to post chain mail. Anyone who bypasses this block for the sake of spamming chain mail (people saying "OMG I MET SHEDLETSKY" get treatment #3) gets terminated.
Secondly, maintain a list of scam sites. Anyone who posts a link on the list gets terminated. Anyone who uses a bypass to post a link on this list receives an IP ban.
Finally, anyone abusing comments for stupid things like "BC CHAIN!/OWNER CHAIN!" or crappy ASCII art will have a comment strike placed on their account along with a message explaining why. Anybody who amasses 3 strikes is permanently banned from commenting anywhere on the site.
Oh, and if alts are made that continue abusing the comment section, IP bans shall be handed out.
These additions will clean everything up, but ROBLOX is clearly not in any mood to fix it. The feature is dead already. If you're not going to patch it up, don't just leave it in there hoping it will sort itself out. |
