Excuse me, but maybe I didn't know that you could control the camera like that. Does that give you any good reason to be rude about it? I don't think so.

you could move the camera with right-click and moving the mouse since ROBLOX Studio was made as far as i know i don't know what you've been using to move the camera before xd

Like I said, the way I did it was to click the mouse and drag it to the edge of the window. And it seems some others who replied to this thread also didn't know, so if they see what I posted, I'm helping them as well.

I still think Roblox should have let us know in one way or another. They had me thinking for nearly 3 months that Studio was just broken when it really wasn't. Which is pretty bad considering the whole theme of Roblox is to make games.

You were probably the only one using that method to move the camera in studio. You're supposed to move the camera with right click and moving the mouse, and that's how it always worked. ROBLOX didn't do anything wrong.

No, you weren't "supposed" to move the camera that way. Nothing ever told you that's how you had to do it. There were most certainly other people who used it the way I did, including the ones who replied to this thread saying they had the same problem. If they didn't want people to move the camera that way they wouldn't allow you to in the first place. I don't know how long you've been on Roblox but going from what I see here it says you joined in 2014. Things were very different in Roblox Studio before 2014. I don't remember being able to turn the camera with right click back in the years before that. And just think, what if this was an even more important feature that they changed the method of using, and didn't tell anyone about it? What if it caused a lot of people to think Studio was broken? Seeing as the moderators never really care about anything here, it would be bad with tons of people complaining that they can't even make a game. This is why they need to tell people about these changes.

you were the only one who didn't know how to correctly move the camera Right-Click and move is used in professional animation 3D software, like Blender, 3Ds Max, and Maya to pan the camera. join date is irrelevant. what is relevant is when you started using ROBLOX studio it seems like you only recently learned that it even existed since you didn't even know how to correctly move the camera i've been using ROBLOX studio since 2010, when i joined and it has always had the same controls to move the camera that it does today. people on this thread were referring to a different issue that had no relevance to what you were experiencing. https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=163008540

Sorry, but I don't use professional 3D animation software, so I wouldn't know that. Did you look at what I said? Roblox Studio back in 2011 didn't have the ability to turn the camera like that from what I remember. If it did, then I didn't know about it back then. Big deal. And how do you know the people who replied to this thread were talking about a different issue? Maybe they read what I posted and did in fact have the same issue. Just because it may be obvious to you doesn't mean it's obvious to everyone else. Roblox never said anything about how to control the camera. The way I learned it back 5 years ago or so was how my friend had taught me, and I've used it like that ever since. Please don't make assumptions like that, there's no need.
