This is very strange. I don't know how this happened, but all of a sudden I can't drag the mouse to the edge of the screen to turn the camera in Roblox Studio anymore. I saw that Roblox Studio was recently updated, so is this a bug with the new update? If so, how can I undo the update (if it's possible)? If not, then what could be causing this problem? Should I just uninstall/reinstall? Because that seems to never fix any problems with any program on any computer.

Bump
I also can't seem to be able to upload audio, despite the file meeting the right requirements. But there's a separate thread somewhere talking about that issue. If anyone knows what's up with that as well, let me know.

Go to explorer and click camera then change the camera's mode |
You mean the CameraType? I'm changing that and nothing's happening... is it in the explorer or did you mean something else?

So true... i'm gonna quit soon. |
I've given up on Roblox since like 2013 I'm just doing this to see if I can earn some money from making games
Alright roblox this is stupid are you going to fix these problems or not holy crap
Well guys I guess we won't be able to fricking make games or upload audio for the next three months until they finally give enough craps to fix the problems... Roblox in 2016 everybody |
Alright, it seems I can finally upload audio again. But I still can't turn the camera in Studio. They even updated it recently and they didn't notice this problem? I guess not everyone has it. What can I do to fix this? I'd really like to continue building my game but I can't if I'm not even able to look around...

Press on 'camera' then click delete and it will let your camera free. |
I tried that, it didn't work

It still hasn't been fixed. |

So it's been about a couple weeks... still hasn't been fixed... Well it's nice to know I can't even build a game on a website where the main feature is building games. *facedesks repeatedly*

I've tried everything. NOTHING WORKS. |

It's been two months and I STILL can't turn the camera. At all. Nice job Roblox. Guess you really don't want us to build games anymore, huh? Last time I checked I thought that was the whole freaking point of Roblox. Guess this game has gotten so bad that you can't even do the one thing that defines it. And they wonder why everyone's giving up on Roblox. They haven't even addressed the issue or anything. Do they actually not look at the forums or something? Great "technical support" they got there.

I found a way to move the camera without the mouse.
Use the 'page up' and 'page down' to look up and down. To zoom in and out, use I and O. To move left and right, do the '>' and '<'. |
Go To Workspace
And Delete The Camera |
Go In the properties and see camera type if its in attach delete the camera and if its still in attach change it to fixed |
Alright, I'm getting sick and tired of this. What is the issue here? Deleting the camera only causes my game to disappear, either that or it just teleports the position away from all the objects, but I can't turn the camera to look around even after deleting it. The camera IS set to Fixed, not Attach. I think the problem is the window itself - the mouse doesn't stay inside the window when I click and drag, as in it doesn't hit the edge of the window, so it doesn't turn the camera. I don't know why it did this but one day it just decided to do that. Does anyone have any idea how this could be fixed?

same thing happens to me. Very weird |
I should note this happens in any place I edit, not just my game. That's another reason it must be the studio window itself. Also, uninstalling/reinstalling does nothing.

Nice job on this one Roblox. Turns out the camera ISN'T broken - they just changed the way you control it. WITHOUT giving any sort of notification. -_-
Anyways, you can now control the camera by holding Right Click and moving the mouse. It actually works better than before, I didn't like how when I tried to move the camera it would highlight everything in the game, I would have to move everything out of my field of view just to turn the camera and it was quite annoying. So that's a plus. But Roblox, next time, can you please let people know of these updates conveniently? Don't just put them in a log somewhere, show them to us when we start up Studio or something. You had me thinking for the past 3 months that Studio was broken.

you must be a special kind of idiot.
"you can now control the camera by holding Right Click and moving the mouse."
lmao, stop this stupidity
