You GAVE the person ownership of the group, therefore it is YOUR fault and your fault only.
Buying/selling/trading groups on www.roblox.com is against the rules so you can't even use that as an excuse or reason that you were 'scammed'
Unless someone got onto your account, gave himself leadership to the group, and refused to give it back, it isn't scamming nor is it against Roblox rules.

As if anyone follows ROBLOX rules if that were the case, I never scammed Privox out of Stratus I guess. heh

It is not impossible.
Scamming is when someone does not hold their part of the deal. Some people can be very manipulative so don't always blame it on the victim. |
|
|
It is 100% the owners choice to 'give' someone a group.
If they get 'scammed' then it's not within anyones power to prove that they were scammed.
Again, it's different if they got onto your account and did it themselves, but if I were to give someone a group right now, it is completely my choice to do so, and any consequences are therefore mine to bare if it goes wrong.

"Unless someone got onto your account, gave himself leadership to the group, and refused to give it back, it isn't scamming nor is it against Roblox rules."
stealing accounts is against rules and is punishable with proof

"Scamming is when someone does not hold their part of the deal. Some people can be very manipulative so don't always blame it on the victim."
Manipulative or not, it is still the owners >Choice< to give someone a group.
There is absolutely no way you can be FORCED into doing it unless it has to do with something outside of Roblox and in that case it isn't a 'scamming' issue anyways.
Trading/selling/buying groups is against the rules and it is your own fault if you get 'scammed' 100%

DECOM, I agree.
That's why I said >Unless<
Unless being, unless that is the situation, it isn't against the rules.
The overall point here is, if you voluntarily give someone a group, it's your own fault no matter what.

do you know the definition of scamming?
"a confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit; swindle. verb (used with object), scammed, scamming. 2. to cheat or defraud with a scam."
to scam is to manipulate someone for your own gain/profit
|
|

In a real life situation, that would work.
But on Roblox, it's against the rules to sell/buy/trade groups therefore it is your own fault.

It's still scamming therefor your initial point is invalid
scamming is scamming, regardless of the rules. they shouldnt have done it, yeah, no ones arguing that. its their fault? yeah. its scamming though.

Going back on your agreements is lame and people who take groups should be made pariahs in the C&G community for being untrustworthy with something as simple as their word.
Not to say it isn't also at fault of the victim for making a stupid choice. |
|

According to Roblox, there is no "Deal" when it comes to groups.
If you give someone a group, you're giving it to them, period.
You cannot buy/sell/trade groups on Roblox.com

thats the rules, yes, but it is still by definition a scam.
does not mean roblox has to do anything about giving back the groups/items
its still a scam.
|

It's only a scam if by definition there is a deal taking place, and something is promised in return but not delivered.
That is impossible on Roblox concerning groups, completely impossible because there is no function for it.
When you give a person a group, by default, you must automatically assume there is no deal, and that you're simply giving them the group because that is the only possible function on the website.
That being said, it is not a scam, you gave the person the group voluntarily knowing that its impossible to buy/sell/trade groups using functions on the Roblox website.

scam
noun
1.a dishonest scheme; a fraud.
|
|
|
How is the person you GAVE a group to a fraud?
You gave them the group voluntarily knowing that is impossible for any form of trading/selling/buying to take place.
