Each month, there will be two graduations. One on the 15th, and one on the 30th and/or 31st of the month. If for some reason, you cannot make it to a graduation, PM the Director the oath of honor. You can attend a Tier anytime you want. Each Tier will hold the following curriculum,
Tier 1: Approximately 2 hours.
- Introduction.
- Rules and Guidelines.
- Codes and Callsigns.
- Radio Communication.
- Clearing a Subject.
Tier 2: Approximately 1.5 hours.
- Criminal Justice System.
- Internal Affairs.
- Tickets, Citations, and Warnings.
- Probable Cause and Reasonable Suspicion.
- Miranda Rights and Waver.
- Arrest Procedure.
Tier 3: Approximately 2 hours.
- Defense Tactics.
- Frisk & Search.
- Pedestrian Stop.
- Pretense Stop.
Tier 4: Approximately 2 hours.
- Traffic Stop.
- Felony Stop.
- Pursuit Policies.
- Pursuit Simulation.
Tier 5: Approximately 2 hours.
- Checkpoints.
- Breaching.
- Firearms and Equipment.
- Final Discussion with Instructor.
- Meeting with Department Heads. (Length may vary.)
