Block building is NOT quicker OR easier. For most things, a graphical representation will only slow you down once you learn to work without one. Ask any experienced Linux user if they would rather use notepad++ or ########## * The same thing is true of block-based scripting. If you think clicking and dragging through menus is a good use of your time, that's your ############ but if I want to #### ## a function to an event, I'd rather not have to navigate through menus to find that event, drag it beside the function, and do whatever ### #### block scripting entails. It's so much easier to just type my.Event:connect(function). * I SUPPOSE nano could be included here too but it's so bare bones... personally I use vim. |
