While making my game, the cutscene player wouldn't work because of the 2D camera, but I also really thought it would be cool if we could play a video in-game. Image/extra moderaters should moderate the video to make sure it isn't innapropiate. And, there should be a ScreenGUI option for YoutubeLabel, and YoutubeButton. |

It's already possible but very complicated
make ur own webserver
make it connect to a youtube video
make it get each frame as a picture (screenshot)
make it send the picture data (i guess that's possible) through HTTPService
I'm sure it would have tons of latency |

My friend is a rbxdev member, and when you are a member you get experimental features in studio. One of the new experimental features is VideoLabel.
He shows me it, it can play things like gifs and certain amount of time of a video.

support, maybe they could auto filter based on a youtubers username, user picture, video name, video desc, video picture, and what the youtuber has done in the past, and have more thorough moderation after it's been cleared out a bit.
also if they know youtuber is clean they could put them on a whitelist to permit all their videos? |
