Hunting is a violent and cruel passtime. I would hope that a kid friendly platform such as Roblox would not endorce this type of behavior. Hunting is often called a sport as a way to pass off a cruel, needless killing spree as a socially acceptable, wholesome activity. However, sports involve competition between two consenting parties and the mediation of a referee. And no sport ends with the deliberate death of one unwilling participant.
Obviously, this is a controversial topic throughout the population-but it doesn't take a very high IQ or average sized brain to see that senselessly murdering innocent beings in the name of "fun" is an okay thing to do.
Either you agree with me or don't. I encourage you to attack my message and not my own person if you are offended by my opinion.

Not everyone's vegetarian such as yourself. People enjoy other things, and bashing someone based on what they enjoy to do on roblox is pretty messed up if you ask me. Sure, I hate games that promote online dating such as RHS and that other one with the guy with black hair as the thumbnail, but you don't see me telling roblox to shut them down because I don't personally like it.

I do not agree with this at all.
This is honestly a stupid idea for many reasons.
1. Most humans aren't vegan or vegetarian (I'm not suggesting that you are)
2. If it's not okay to have hunting games, then what about games like phantom forces? That is actually human (Or mostly human) violence.
3. What about fishing? I mean, there are TONS of fishing games out there
4. I honestly think this is a good idea, because it can satisfy a thirst for hunt. It's not going to make someone who hate the outdoors suddenly think to themselves, "Dang, I wanna kill some animals!"

My goodness, is this person still trying to get this passed? They make a thread pretty much every day on this topic posted from a different account each time.
It won't happen. The fact your threads haven't received any support from the community, game creators, or admins means that you're part of a very tiny majority.
You need to define exactly what is considered a 'hunting' game.
Apoc rising?
Hunger Games?
Hunting simulator?
Treasure hunting?
Does a FPS based around two teams fighting each other fall into this category?
What about clan forts?
Horror and murder mystery games?
'Hunting' is such a broad term that you'd end up banning pretty much every shooter or survival game on Roblox as a result.
I understand your desire to troll and bait people, but all it does is lower other's opinions of you. Grow up.

Would you like to get rid of FPS games on ROBLOX too? Such as Apocalypse Rising, Phantom Forces, and many others? Or do you not care about human cruelty?
Sure, I agree hunting is quite the petty "sport" and I disagree with many of its fundamentals but it's a game. Kids platform or not, children these days are being exposed to much worse than shooting a virtual squirrel or deer. They have hunting games in many kid places like Chuck e Cheese and Mega Play, etc.
It all comes down to one thing. VIRTUAL. These animals and beings they are killing are virtual. They do not exist, feel real pain, etc. The argument you are providing is similar to the violent video games make you commit real violent acts. Completely illogical.
Anyways, what I'm trying to say are 3 things.
1. These are virtual beings, not feeling pain, sorrow, or anything. They are blocky shapes with scripted behaviors. Even the weapons being used on them are virtual!
2. Kids are already exposed to these types of things, and even worse too nowadays. I'd say most kids can handle shooting a fake animal that 9/10 all know is fake.
3. If we got rid of those games, where would it end? Almost all games include fighting or attacking of some sort on ROBLOX.
Whether you think this material is kid-friendly or not, parents don't agree and if they did I'd bet ROBLOX would be contacted by many parents. These games are exposing the kids to nothing new. They know most of this stuff and acknowledge the things they are attacking are fake.

If meat eaters are bad for killing animals, then vegans are bad for killing plants, which are also living things. Humans are also naturally Omnivores and are therefore accustom to killing animals for food or for clothing. |

Jfc, it's just a game. If one day a child decided, "Hmmm, killing that person was fun, I'm gonna go do it irl", then it's not the game's fault. It's not only the child's fault, but also the parent's for not teaching him/her right from wrong. The Hunting Simulator game that you linked is User-Created, Roblox doesn't have control over what the user chooses to build. Lets say Roblox takes it down because allowing the game to remain is "endorcing" it. Now Roblox will have to remove any violent game with guns or shooting because it promotes violence, that alone removes A LOT of games. Now they will have to remove crime/roleplay games because it normalises crime and endorses it. Everything on Roblox is user-created. The issue would not be with Roblox but the users, and when you restrict what individual people with different ways/cultures/experiences can make with that ;You restrict creativity. Defeating the purpose of Roblox in the first place |
