Greenleaf Hotel – Staff Job Descriptions
1 | Hotel Guest: Welcome to our hotel! Please come and check in at the reception desk, get a room, and enjoy your stay!
2 | Honor Member: Special picked by the Chairman, you serve as the VIP's of the hotel. VIP members will receive premium rooms, and other special amenities.
3 | Suspended: Sometimes, things happen, then the administration has no choice but to suspend staff. However, that's okay, you will be back to work soon!
4 | Housekeeping: As guests leave from their stay, it is your job to go into their room and tidy it up to the best condition possible for the next guests, make sure you alert the front desk of the rooms you are currently cleaning!
5 | Bartender: Hungry guests? Your job is to maintain the eating area on our seventh floor lounge, make sure that all the guests have drinks, food, etc.
6 | Security: Your primary task is to maintain the safety of the guests that will be staying with us. Use the Security Radio to communicate with other officers, and keep the peace! Please remember not to abuse any of your security tools.
7 | Receptionist: Everyday, we see many guests checking into our hotel. Your job is to man the computers at our front desks, give guests their keys, answer any questions, and be a friendly face! Please remember that you will be the first staff member many of our guests see, so make a good impression!
Team Management Positions -
Team leaders: Please be sure to report any STAFFING concerns to a general manager. (this includes behavior, performance, etc.)
8 | Head of Security: Your responsibility is to maintain our online security team, you’re the senior member of the team. You will often be called upon in sticky situations. Make sure that the security team is doing their jobs correctly, and not abusing their tools!
9 | Head of Services: Your primary concern is to be lead over our food department and our housekeeping team, you will make sure that our rooms are being cleaned greatly, and make sure that our guests food experience is pleasant.
10 | Head of Reception: Your job is to be lead over our reception, working primarily at the front desk you will be the leader of the crew! If anything goes wrong with one of our computer systems, or we have a trick guest, other receptionists will turn to you. Make sure that your team is performing well!
General Leadership Positions -
11 | Management: Welcome to the management team! Your job is to assist our other managers, fill in where needed, and ensure that all of our team leaders are performing well.
12 | Senior Management: Your job is to ensure that the operations of services are running smoothly. Check in on all of the managers, make sure they have everything they need. Check in on all of the team’s and departments, make sure they are performing well. Check in with guest’s, make sure they enjoy their stay. Also, be sure to keep an eye on the outdoor areas.
13 | Managing Director: Top tier! Your job is to lead the two lower ranking managers, this could be in general questions, training, and any other way you see fit.
14 | Shift Manager: Call that shift! Your responsibility is to call and maintain the activity of our hotel shifts. You will be the leader of lower ranking on duty staff in that shift. Fill in where needed, and be ready to answer questions!
15 | General Manager: Top of the line! Your concerned with everything! Make sure that all of the managers are performing well, make sure staff is well trained, make sure our guests are having a lovely experience. Keep an eye on the outdoor safety as well!
Appointed Management Positons:
15 | Executive General Manager: As an Exeuctive GM, your job is to lead the management team and be head of all administrative duties for the hotel, and serve as operations director of the hotel.
16 | Board of Directors: As a Board member, your job is to supervise and make decisions for the well being of the hotel. You will have meetings to discuss the matience, and other complaints that may arise.
17 | Vice Chairman: As the Vice Chairman, you serve as the second highest executive ranking officer in the hotel. You serve as the head of staff, interviews and applications will come through you. You will be in-charge of operations if the chairman is absent or on leave.
18 | Chairman: As the Chairman, you serve as the Director of the Hotel. You are incharge on maintaining the general apperance of the hotel, you oversee the appointments of appointed management positions, and are the human resources main man!
Staff Admin Rules:
Staff, as a general note. Please obey the following.
-No M!
-No TP all
-No admining your friends or guests
-No spin, disco, fire, size, etc.
Staff Apperance:
Staff, please dress to a high appearance standard, please no revealing attire.
Above the Line Policy:
Staff are intended to be "above the line" at Greenleaf! We expect you to present our hotel to an extremly high standard, we want to be one of the most active, successful, and well staffed hotel. However, there is a difference between being well staffed, and successfully well staff. We want to be successfully well staffed, this means that our staff is trained well, dressed well, and behaves well. Please present our hotel in a great way!
