Pushups are best, if you can't do them or if you can only do like 1-20ish before you drop, have a timer and do assisted for like 6 minutes straight.
That or pull-ups will make you YOKED.

don't make the mistake of focusing on one muscle/muscle group when you try to bulk up, even if you're a beginner.
Almost every pec workout requires more than just your chest. You need your abs to support the rest of your body for stability on just about everything, for instance.
And if you focus on just one muscle group, it will grow disproportionate to the rest of your muscles, not only making some movements difficult, but making others impossible. You need your biceps, triceps, and anterior deltoids to exert a forward push, for instance. If your pecs are huge but everything else is underdeveloped, you will not be able to do a lot of pushups.
tl;dr for all of that ---> if you work out just your pecs, they will be useless, since you need other muscles to exert their power. Work out multiple things at once, and take a natural approach to bulking. Target specific muscle groups with certain workouts, but when you are recovering those muscles, work on others.
Also, 20 pounds of muscle is alot. If you put on 20 pounds for just your pecs, you will be a woman. Seriously. Spread that ish around, it'll take some time.
Last thing man, my advice is to start out focusing on your abs. They're basically necessary for just about any movement you do and if they're tiny you will suffer. leglifts4lyfe
