[TGAB] 95th Rifles Tryout manual The 95th Rifles serve as the elite riflemen within The Great Army of Britannia. Wearing green, the 95th is the British Army's first attempt at camouflage. They are known for their accuracy, in part because they carry the Baker Rifle, rather than the traditional 'Brown Bess' musket. We are a regiment does not perform tryouts for friends and give a free pass for them to join, they must prove that they have earned a spot in are Regiment. This tryout you will be hosting for rankers should be harshly judged, intense, and difficult! The trainee must exhibit these qualities maturity, discipline, grammar, respect! Officer eligible to administer the test - Lieutenant + Requirements- Once a cadet has passed his cadet training he will be eligible for the 95th rifles tryout. We will only be accepting men that have proved their worthiness of holding a position in this regiment, and are above the rank private. Faces/Musketry- The trainee trying out for the 95th rifles must be able to compete the basic faces at a fast pace. Therefore the instructor must quickly type the commands and try and confuse the ranker being tested. (Commands: Left face!(LF) Right face!(RF) About face!(AF) Right incline!(RI)Left Incline!(LI)Center face!(CF) Musketry must be executed quickly and precisely, there should be no mistakes in this part of the tryout form the ranker.(Due to it being one the basic things you need to know to be in the army) Positioning Orders: - Make Ready (MR) - Present (P) - Shoulder (S) - Trail Arms (TA) - Port Arms (PA) -Focus fire(FF) -Fire (F) Fire and Advance (FAA)- Directly after musketry fire and advance should be performed and be continuous until the instructor feels it is time to move on. Fire and advance is performed when Soldiers form a simple stagger formation, and will then the ranks will alternate fire and advance slowly at the same time, effective to advance and provide covering fire in unison. This part of the test should be performed for a long period of time to test their endurance and how long the can endure a activity. Skirmish Formation/Skirmish Order(SFL,SO)- Directly after fire and advance move onto are to most common skirmish formations. They will be tested on execution, speed, and how precise they perform. When the commanding officer calls ‘skirmish formation’, soldiers will form a loose line where each man will stand five paces apart from one another and usually crouch, supporting the line and/or artillery will a barrage of covering fire, or advance towards the enemy line and/or enemy skirmishers. When a commanding officer calls for ‘Skirmish Order’, soldiers will break formation and find cover, now being able to conceal the number of their men. Accuracy Test- During this test the instructor will set up clones from 500+ studs away and the trainee must kill all of the clones. The instructor will allow the trainee to use a baker/musket and the there should be 5 clones they must kill in a row.
