I can't be the only one who's tired of seeing 🔥👌𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋👌🔥 clothing. Searching for clothing with keywords doesn't make it better either.
For an example, let's say I wanted to buy ninja outfits, so I use the keyword "Ninja". Let's say I want to find the best-selling ninja outfits. Unfortunately, I can't do that. I don't want to look through 50,000 pages (literally) of ninja outfits to see what the community likes the most.

The current best-selling search algorithm singles out the literal best-selling items, regardless of whether the search term you used is in the title or just one of the endless unrelated tags put in the description. This is a major flaw, because 9/10 times, unless your search term is something really niche, it will return generic hoodie clothing with huge amounts of sales with the word 'ninja' hidden somewhere in the description.
It needs a complete overhaul so that the algorithm first searches only for titles matching the search term. Coupled with this there needs to be a rating system on clothing - something like 'this is relevant, this not relevant' to prevent people expooriting item titles like they currently exploit descriptions. |

It's silly that there even needs to be a 'relevancy' filter in the user-created catalog.
Results should be relevant to the searched term by default. Imagine if you had to tick a 'relevancy' box every time you searched for something on Amazon. |

What if clothing had a user-rating system as well? I know what you're thinking, "It could easily be abused by the owners" yes, but let's say the vote is per unique IP? That won't completely stop the abuse, but it would diminish it to a great amount. |

An upvote/downvote system should be kept as a secondary vairaible to the relevancy algorithm though when searching for best-selling items using keywords.
They should be a best-rated filter as you suggested. Perhaps a system that allows for multiple filters to be selected at once. |

The most accurate information you can get in the catalog is when you search clothes by "Creator".
For an example, under the "Creators" filter, type in "Gusmanak" in the box. You will find every single shirt, t-shirt, and pants Gus uploaded that is on sale. I get accurate information when I sort the results I get by best-selling and recently-updated. I want to receive that same information when using specific keywords. |
