Sanders would be doing way better than Clinton. He certainly would be a LOT more competitive in Ohio and would be winning PA and MI. Trade is the issue that has killed Clinton in those states and Sanders doesn't have that pro-NAFTA and pro-TPP record. Also, New Hampshire would be much safer because he is extremely popular there (he won there by 22 points).

@Zammy Meh, I have a feeling that a lot of votes for Trump came due to the scandals Hillary has. Sanders wouldn't have to deal with that nearly as much of that, but I think him being called a communist so much could've potentially caused him just as many issues as Clinton had with the emails and lead to his demise as well. And half the time Clinton's campaign was going on about Trump being racist and misogynist and it didn't work.
