In terms of military might, no country in the world can even hope to stand a chance again the United States. I'd even go as far as to say the US would defeat the entire world in a war. Occupying it would be impossible, but the US could inflict crippling damage across the globe before a response could even be mustered simply because the US has BY FAR the greatest force projection capabilities out of any nation.
